BODY ART MUSEUM EXHIBITION

Body Art is an exhibition being held at the American Museum of Natural history. It was raised to display the cultural background behind tattoos. In our society tattoos have been looked down upon. In other cultures, tattoos are a sign on unity, courage and respect. The exhibit displays the techniques used around the world for tattooing. It also displays the history of the use of the body as a canvas throughout the times and in different regions of the world.

As the environmental awareness increases, the market changes. Us, as human beings change with it as well. Our lifestyles change in order to adapt to our surroundings. It is very impractical for the environment and for our pockets to own a car in major cities such as San Francisco, New York, Japan, but the need for transportation is always there. People find alternative ways to get around. Urbanvelo is a magazine designed for the urban biker that has adapted to this change. Urbanvelo highlights the beauty of riding in the city with the use of clean type and icons as well as photo driven designs.

The product has been tested out in parks and playgrounds and it is an instant eye catcher and a great conversation starter.
